Am I me through geography? es una exposición colectiva sobre el sentido de la identidad, presentando a Irene Izquierdo (España, 1988), Jimmy Cukier (Costa Rica, 2001) y María Victoria Salcedo (Venezuela, 2001).
La exposición tiene como objetivo ofrecer una vía de reconocimiento a estos artistas por su trabajo. Además, con la pretensión de demostrar la técnica fotográfica en analógico y la documentación artística que realizan estos tres fotógrafos, capturando colectivos, comunidades o pintando retratos de la sociedad en sus proyectos Bonanza(Izquierdo) , Entre Líneas: identidades cuir latinoamericanas (Cukier) e Investigación sobre el hecho de vivir (Salcedo).
Am I me through geography? es una exploración del significado de la identidad y del sentimiento de pertenencia. Es un acercamiento hacia cómo ven las realidades distintas personas y cómo nos marca el donde venimos. Es un atajo hacia la comprensión de las relaciones de las personas con la sociedad, lo que es vivir fuera del sistema o cómo su geografía les hace vivir de manera diferente.
Los artistas, Izquierdo, Cukier y Salcedo, documentan mundos muy diferentes entre sí, pero concuerdan en sus luchas por la defensa de su identidad.

Am I me through geography? is a collective exhibition about the sense of identity, featuring Irene Izquierdo (Spain, 1988), Jimmy Cukier (Costa Rica, 2001), and María Victoria Salcedo (Venezuela, 2001).
The exhibition aims to recognize these artists for their work. Additionally, it seeks to showcase the technique of analog photography and the artistic documentation carried out by these three photographers, who capture collectives, communities, or paint portraits of society in their projects Bonanza (Izquierdo) , Entre Líneas: identidades cuir latinoamericanas (Cukier) and Investigación sobre el hecho de vivir (Salcedo).
Am I me through geography? is an exploration of the meaning of identity and the feeling of belonging. It delves into how different people perceive reality and how where we come from shapes us. It offers insight into people's relationships with society, what it means to live outside the system, or how geography influences the way they experience life.
Artists Izquierdo, Cukier, and Salcedo document very different worlds, yet they share a common struggle in defending their identities.
